They killed the double dip for first timers 7 or 8 years ago. If OP does indeed meet Plat requirements for 2022 status year (both MQM's and MQD Waiver) in 2021, they will get another Plat choice benefit for 2022 status year. But that won't happen until some time in 2021 as they still need to meet the MQD Waiver spend requirement in 2021 even if they rollover enough MQM's into 2021 to qualify for Plat.
