There is of course never any harm in being careful, but note that the modus operandi was clearly the culprit finding ways to "Invite" themselves as nominated person on the victim's account, so you would expect that anyone similarly targeted by the same culprit will be in the same manner and will thus receive/have received an email from BAEC confirming that xyz has been added as a nominated person on their account. If you receive such a message then yes, obviously, do (very much) worry!
