I find it a little odd that they're keeping this historic structure around and demolishing A-1, A-2, and A-3 without any kind of new consolidated concourse gate replacement coming out of the current Terminal A (perhaps where the current A-3 is.) I would imagine there is some space to do it for maybe like 12-15 additional gates? Could be nice opportunity to keep United Express out of Terminal 1 and have it be for the other US carriers so they can continue to expand operations without UA hogging gates up (which we all know they're eventually going to do once it opens.)
