It’s interesting that they’ve left the First cabin intact given these aircraft are to be converted to a 3-class configuration. You’d have thought that all cabins would’ve been removed to make the 3-class fit-out quicker when the time comes.
As mentioned the F cabin is required for crew rest to operate under extended FTLs. The normal crew rest facility is inoperable under freighter config and so keeping F was the easiest way around it I guess
