While this in theory works, the early loop needs to be very early in the day to get to DTW in time to fly to say ATL, then the second loop set of the day doesn't go out until very late to ensure ATL inbounds make it. With frequency down to 1x a day, and a lot of them are to hub AM, from hub PM, missing a connection often means driving is the better option.
