As Globalist I'd never do suite redemptions for obvious reasons.
Amazingly, it turns out that not everyone is Globalist and fretting about "re-qualifying." I don't think the poster was claiming using UR points directly (rather than transferring) is the "best" or "only" way, but rather another way, that may or may not, on occasion be with checking.
