How late can you pickup your reservation before it is cancelled?
I have a reservation (with Budget) for 4pm Friday to 4pm Tuesday (4 day rental). Airport location open 24 hours.
I will not be able to pickup the car till 8 / 8:30pm now.
Modifying and repricing the reservation now makes it $50 more due to price changes. So I'm considering leaving reservation as-is, and just picking up 4 hours late (I did make a more expensive cancellable backup reservation with Thrifty just in case for 8pm pickup).
Will they cancel my booking as no-show for being 4 hours late? What typically happens? I've often been late picking up about 30 minutes to an hour and it has never been an issue, but I'm wondering if it is an issue if it is 4-5 hours late?
