Separate Award Tickets for Children
Hi all,
I'm looking to book partner award tickets on JAL for myself and my child, but only have enough miles for one ticket (SFO to Tokyo). My spouse (who will not be going on the trip) has enough miles in her account to book the 2nd ticket for the child - will Alaska allow us to make that booking on a separate reservation for the child, and to have it linked to my own reservation? I assume we would need to make this booking (at least the child one) by phone?
I think I recall that Alaska's online ticketing system can link up separate reservations for children to an adult reservation, but I think that was for revenue tickets flown on Alaska - does anyone know if that online linking works for partner awards? I hope I'm not confusing airlines, but I thought I did that once on Alaska before.
