Been to the airport, but not the city?
BA were due to fly me to Chicago next weekend. It was to be my first visit to the city, except ……… I’ve been through ORD at least a dozen times.
So it set me thinking – what other BA destinations have I seen the airport, but never the city?
ORD – In my days of AAdvantage mileage runs ORD was often the cheapest gateway, and I have also started a fair few holidays connecting to the west of there!
DFW – ditto
Also, SAN, AUS, IAH, DEN, PHL.
My European ones are probably more shocking! As a leisure only traveller BA has taken me to or from
AMS, MAD, BCN, MXP & LIN, BRU, DUS, FRA, VIE, BUD
but I have never been past the airport premiter fence of any of them.,
Is your list longer/more outrageous, or your travel pattern more odd?
