It is a bit odd terminology but when I purchase AM business class, it is usually a “Confort” business class ticket, and I have always been seated in a business class seat and received the proper amount of miles credited as tho I flew business class (which is what it is). There may be minor differences when crediting to another program such as skymiles, but the Delta mqd credit is the same (40%).
