The YVR -> TPE route is mostly used by 'astronaut' families that keep kids in Canada for that passport of convenience OR people using Taipei as a Star Alliance hub for further connections to South East Asia for leisure channel. With that in mind, I really think that his route has some of the most affordable trans-pacific J-Class out there. Great for me to get that AQD spend up for Air Canada. Now, in comparison, SFO - TPE has insanely expensive J-Class as you've got so many tech executives heading to Taipei/Hsinchu/Taoyuan to check in on their silicon supply chain.
