Not sure how MH does but the rank and file staff members are still all right while the manager level and above were given pay cuts (a ex colleague of mine is in office/commercial segment). Not to mention those flight ops staff (Pilot/CA/Engineers)

Interesting thing is no one from Air Asia actually shared the internal bulletin to press unlike MH or Malindo Air.

The MCO orders also doesn't not help the hotels much anyway. Some hotel went full retard and kick out everyone before the MCO starts when in actual fact those in house are allowed to stay on shd they wish to do so.

Hotel/lodging industries also hit hard by this virus, pay cuts/unpaid leave were the order of the day.

If I am not mistaken Airlines still can fly domestically with the exception between East and West Malaysia. At least some kind of cash flow still going on there provided the flights were still operational as usual
