I have a question regarding $125 fee each for changing reservation instead of cancelling it. My gf and I have to return home from Budapest due to the Europe travel ban. We were scheduled to return from BUD on March 15, but due to the travel ban, we have to change our flight and return on March 12. We did not cancel our flight or ask for re-deposit of mileages. We took the flight and return home. Am I eligible for the changing fee refund? I spoke with someone from the mileage plus, he told me to submit a refund request online, which I did.
