An idea for using the $15 Uber credit if you're paranoid during this time
So I have a monthly use it or lose it $15 Uber credit through my AMEX Platinum credit card, but I'm a bit paranoid to take an Uber or even get food delivery during this time, yet I wanted to still support a driver and not just lose the free credit.
So I just ordered some cans of soda using UberEats from a nearby restaurant. I figured you can wash the soda cans before opening. The credit was able to cover the soda and all fees, plus tip.
Of course, I would never normally pay this amount for soda but this is not bad considering I was just going to let the credit lapse anyways.
BTW, UberEats now has a 'leave it by the door' contactless option.
