I think this is a very good solution. Singapore doesn't have many cases so they don't need to use empty hotels for treatment but for residents coming home from other countries and need to stay in quarantine away from their family or don't have home in SIN this will be a good solution. Don't see the problem in keeping the hotel open for business.
