What hotel did you have reservations through? The Anaheim Marriott - where I’ve stayed for the last 20 years - charged my credit card for over $3,000 in rooms and won’t refund.
Marriott changed their policy on March 14 which is probably after your dates. They now allow cancellation up to 24 hours before even on pre-paid rate. I think you missed it by a week.
