Got up early this morning and got a very nice agent after only a 10 minute wait. She not only cancelled these for me, she said that they are currently waiving redeposit fees in these situations. Don't know if this is a YMMV situation, but I got the best result I could have hoped for.

I assume it normally takes a day or two for the miles to be redeposited?
