I am stubbornly clinging to hope that I might yet make it, but it's looking increasingly poor. Got that Vietnamese visa approval letter, but now it looks like visas on arrival are cancelled ... so I am pretty sure that means I can't enter?? As my ticket was JAL, but booked thru Amex, not sure if I could change to just YVR-NRT return? All quite confusing. Looks like I'm not working after for a couple weeks, so could self-quarantine on return if still required in a month's time. I have another 2 weeks or so before I definitively have to pull the plug though.
