Question No response from Novotel

Dear All,

A few days ago, I contacted the Novotel hotel in Manchester to check if I could change my noon-refundable booking in April to refundable by paying the extra fee. The response from the hotel was that it was possible if i pay the difference in the current rate and they attached a form for completing payment details. I sent the form two hours after receiving the email and send it again a day after just in case because I was told the rate was available for only 24 hours. This was 3 days ago and I haven't received a reply yet. I would like to know if you have experience with such issues and is this email legitimate: [email protected]

I don't know if they changed their mind or of they will be using my credit card details for something else, but it sounds strange that they would offer to change it and then not respond at all.
