The loss of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ (not $$$) will, in the long run, lead to bankruptcies, unemployment, and poverty. Poverty also leads to loss of life through suicides, riots, malnutrition, and other ways. The malnutrition caused by poverty means that people will be less resistant to other sicknesses.
