I have a flight booked in N-Y fare classes. I am trying to change this, and the new flights that I would like to change into are also N-Y fare classes. The prices of the tickets are exactly the same. However, when I call to make changes, I am being quoted thousands of dollars. Does anyone have any idea why this could be the case? Flights are JFK-FRA-IST-FRA-JFK. It is a flight that the waiver applies, confirmed by LH.
