LUS picked up a number of EA 757's after it shut down in 1991, and then later complimented with a batch of newly ordered ones from Boeing through the 90's. One of those EAL birds was the first delivered to them as the launch customer.

It doesn't seem like that long ago the US retired it, but looking at airfleets it appears to be back in 2006. There was another EAL 757 in the US fleet that mechanics affectionately referred to as "Christine" (credit: Stephen King) because it gave them so many problems and spend a lot of time in the hangar.
