The thing is, if you're still carrying the CSR during this, it will cover a lot your day-to-day expenses, namely eating out and getting around (metro). You need to ask whether it's worth paying another annual fee ($400, but you get $325 travel credit, so effectively $75). If your biggest spend outside of travel, transit and restaurants is groceries, there are no AF cards that get 3% cash back with no FTF which might be a better option. I think the CSR fee is $450 (going to $550) and the travel credit is $300, so you need to make up $150-$250 in value.
