Side note, its not surprising UA doesn't go there... if they did they couldn't whine about the ME3.
The LH flights do count towards United PQP if purchased on a United 016 ticket... But from what I hear, total spend alone does not qualify for GS, it is total spend on UA metal. I am hopeful for $50-$60k this year and hope its enough. But if this $10k flight is on LH, not sure how that impacts...
