Bar Harbor Inn is downtown and has great views. There is a shoreline path and you can walk to everything. I have also stayed at the Bluenose Inn. It is lovely but you will probably want to drive if you go downtown and traffic and parking can be difficult. In Northeast Harbor, there is the Asticou Inn.
