We could probably travel as early as October if there are available paper certs expiring 10/31/04. All we are really interested in doing is a getting as many miles as possible on a single trip so we can credit them to our AS accounts as BIS miles. We would certainly assist anyone willing to trade in finding upgradeable UA flights.

We have both held top status on both UA and AS for many years, but, unfortunately, AS pretty much trashed their program this year, making it nigh onto impossible to upgrade a flight at any cost. We had thought of just walking away from AS, but are thinking it might be wise to try to requalify in hopes that AS will rethink the program next year. We are having difficulty withdrawing.
