Maybe some locations would work for events perhaps? I wonder if Harrah New Orleans would work for Jazz Fest attendance on the cheap, for example?
I guess the obvious answer is if Caesars doesn't work for a person then don't transfer to them.

A lot of people who go to Vegas do day trips to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon.

Caesars ( Harrahs) is in NC and Baltimore so I'm sure there is something nearby as far as attractions, the Inner Harbor in Balt.

I'm not redeeming Wyndham points for rooms as we get free rooms. I transfer the points from Wyndham to CET and redeem the points for on site purchases so if a restaurant bill is $150 we redeem 15,000 RC's or what was 15,000 Wyndham points.

For us the best value by far for Wyndham points is 1000 points and the Wyndham Diamond match ( we matched IHG Platinum to get Wyndham Diamond) gets us in the Caesars ( or any CET property) Diamond lounge, that's $10 for unlimited top shelf drinks and food in Vegas.

Many people think everything in Vegas is still free when it's far from it , a Bud bottle will cost you ~ $10 in a strip casino bar if you are paying.
