I've had the car coming back from SF - a one-off for the time being as the agent driving the vehicle explained that they are focusing for launch primarily on JFK, LAX and select Asia destinations for the car, simply because of numbers I suppose. I've been pre-boarded at outstations a few times now, never at LHR, even on a JFK. I just think it's too busy there to have the pre-boarding done by CCR Team/Spec Svcs as staffed now. Definitely not something to be expected on any short haul, if it happens it's a very nice bonus. Car from C gates was good, the pre-board experiences have been nice as a jump-the-scrum thing. Not life changing, if I could expect pre-boarding reliably then I would probably adjust my behaviour in terms of leaving lounges and all that; probably also more comfortable with sub-90 min connections off of long hauls. For now I would not plan on it.
