Always the email - it is the format that is most shareable internally. One of the agents at the SFO United Club even showed me how one of my emails had made it all the way through the system. I have had callbacks from different departments asking for more information / clariification. They do genuinely take inbound notes quite seriously when there is substance and logic weaved throughout them.
