I hear you but in this case we're talking about $550 for the co pay going to PQP vs the $2K or $3k going to PQP on the upfare (or TOD if they were to do that) on
this trip right now. I'm all for maximizing upgrades and upgrade opportunities and spending as little as I can and getting the most out of it- don't get me wrong. However it really depends on their overall strategy for the year, how much travel they will take, and how badly they want to be up front right now. Its all just food for thought.
