With only a 2.5 hour connection, a reasonable chance that you wouldn't have enough time to exit the airport, pick up, check in the box, and get back through security. https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/undefinedI’m coming in internationally and I’ve taken these flight pairs before. Last time the PEK - ORD flight arrived 30 minutes early, and from deplaning until I was in the B6 UA Club it took about 30 minutes or so, and that was taking the bus from T5 to T1
(Posted that in a different thread about the people mover not working at ORD). Please keep up the suggestions on opportunities I never thought of the Hilton concierge, or the UPS store. I appreciate any other input. Thanks and enjoy your travels
