I would say you are unlikely to find any IAD-LAX/SFO on UA with Krisflyer. UA and SQ have the worst relationship within Star Alliance and UA does not release many if any awards to partners.

you can do SFO-HKG-SIN-CGK, then CGK-SIN(stop)-NRT(stop)-LAX paying 2 X US$100.
