I expect questions about OCI will be pointless at some point if some in the Indian government get their way.

Scrapping OCI is not beyond the realm of possibility if some in the government get their way.

When pushed for an explanation of why, babus and netas usually come up with some reason for doing whatever bureaucratic ridiculousness they instituted or sidestep the issue.
