As we don’t have details I just checked randomly Male (Maldives) Well the 2nd Jan flight looks to me sold out in J and almost sold out in W. The seat map shows that 50% of business seats are already selected 40% on W. Of course I can’t say for sure that BA won’t open up the J cabin for sale but the chance is low. Probably similar issue on the 4th Jan.
OP i suggest to post some details and there are people from BA who can check the actual load internally and can advise the current situation. I would also call back the GGL line and ask the person to check the actual load. They might not tell you but they can tell you have they sold any tickets, etc.
