Uhh, this is not how it works. Mainlanders lose Chinese nationality automatically upon naturalizing elsewhere. It's HKers and Macanese who retain Chinese nationality unless they proactively renounce. (For Taiwanese it's more similar to HK/MO.)

Mainlanders naturalized abroad have to apply for a visa and that's when they want the details on your previous PRC identity. HK/MO POB persons applying for a visa may well get denied unless they can prove their renunciation (since around 2015).

But for TWOV, that's when this gray area affects Mainland-born foreigners. Very likely they'll ask about your previous identity. And possible other complications.
