Thanks, this is helpful. I will use that as a rule of thumb, the same way I was using the table from the Get Avios page.
But, for instance, IB includes P from LA as Full Economy and only A and C from AA as Full Economy in the Get Avios page, but I'm not sure if they use these same classes for Elite Points as this is not stated anywhere (the fare classes besides just distance flown), and that is where I have been a little confused.

Haha, I know. To be honest, I'm not finding it too hard given I fly short-haul all over Spain all the time. An upcoming long-haul on BA will help me to boost it and make sure I make it... I was posting my IB flights to LA where I still have OW-Saphire status, but LA is leaving OW this year. Maybe I'm just so used to be miserable flying short-haul that I'm not minding anymore
