While there are star alliance rules, individual airlines often have far more generous polices for passenger connecting solely on their metal.
TG is one of those. Arriving F and connecting to J they escort you to the F class lounge. I wouldn't necessarily see the overnight as being an excluding factor. Arriving pm and trying to use the lounge the next afternoon might be a stretch.
Access to the SPA is usually on the biz class basis (30 minute massage).
Many other star carriers have similar policies for their own connecting passengers including UA J, SQ F, LH F, OZ in the days they had F, and NH F when connecting at the same airport.
