one way ticket mileage or forfeit return trip
I need to book a one way ticket from Zurich to US. Now I can redeem a one way award ticket with 50K plus $55 fee. One way ticket price is very high. Or I can buy a round trip ticket from Zurich to US and find the cheapest returned date to make the round trip ticket around $520.
It seems to me that 50K worth more than the $520-$55. Should I buy the round trip ticket? What would be the consequence if I forfeit the return trip?
