I do not know any major airline that has worse business class food than UA. I used to say that BA was worse, but they listened to their customer, changed caterers; and are much better than UA now. Sure, I will still buy UA business class if it is the cheapest - the seat is the main thing - but I cringe at the thought of the UA onboard dining. I look forward to it on most of their competitors. That may be fine with UA, but I don't imagine that they can charge a premium to other-than-captive customers that way. And not everywhere has a Polaris lounge to even it out.
