Around ten days before the upcoming stay I mentioned above, the hotel sent a pre-arrival email which mentions the room type they have reserved for us -- an "Urban Studiio" rather than the "Grand Oasis" we booked. Only a single category upgrade, but having it confirmed in advance is a nice touch. ^
