lady next to me turned out to be delta pilots wife (not this flight but he was on and next to her for observing the landing and takeoffs for some training apparently) and we were talking and laughiing.....
The lesson here is to stop sharing your views and/or being so gregarious. If Delta applies this “rule” to most D1 passengers, the international flights would have nobody sitting in D1. It is possible you were drunker than you thought you were. However, more likely, your conversation/views/gregariousness caused someone to complain.
