I once flew to Madrid on a A35K, paid for the WiFi (Full flight). For some reason, the speed was very slow mid-journey over inner China and Siberia, so slow I gave up browsing and went for a nap. I wrote to Panasonic afterwards to complaint the slow speed, they ended up refund the fee in full to my credit card. Not sure if it was a one-off or routine handling approach, but at least they did something to rectify (in terms of refund).
