Excellent news, although the lack of reciprocal lounge access is a disappointment.
But there is more than that in the today’s announcement
- BKK will join SIN and HKG as connecting point between CDG/AMS and Oz routes. So, BKK flights will be also code-shared
- there will be a code-share agreement with JetStar to cover some routes from SIN to Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar and Indonesia. Also from DPS to Oz (to connect to/from the KL flight to DPS).
