I try to be courteous at the gate and leave plenty of berth for the groups ahead of me to funnel into the boarding lane, but based on your thoughts maybe I should be "that guy" and queue up directly behind group 2 before the group 3 announcement is made. While we're at it, let's have the group 4 pax (which are usually 30-40% of the flight these days) can also queue up on deck.
