I just returned from a 2 week trip in Japan. The wheels on my bigger carry(aluminum) on performed exceptionally well. I don’t own a poly version but I much prefer the latch system(over the zipper). I’m pretty sure the wheels perform the same for both versions. I would suggest you order both and return the one you don’t like. Their customer service and return policy is great.
