It's about a 15 minute Uber drive downtown and the historical district is right off 95 so it's an easy trip. I'd go do that if you've never seen it. You don't even have to go in anywhere to appreciate it. Just walking around Old City is a good time. Plenty of good restaurants and bars in that area as well if you want to grab a bite to eat/drink.
