Interesting news - sounds pretty certain now. I Hope it takes off and that it will work well for Thai to have a gateway to the north of England and closer to Scotland!
They do have to compete with the likes of SQ for the captive markets of Singapore and Malaysia though, so they must have an indication that there would be sufficient O&D business traffic to sustain it.
