This could suddenly motivate me to move my business back to Lufthansa Group, because it seems fairly similar to the new Flying Blue program. These last years, intra European business fares have been a total waste of money, no matter how cheap. So that will now change. If they do eat Alitalia, then that will suddenly become interesting too.
Any mention of domestic flights getting less points? For me, that is the one major negative about the new Flying Blue.
