Doesn’t help that VA don’t have enough A330’s and with the new BNE-HND needing one they probably didn’t want to pull one from their domestic routes. I’d guess the MEL-HKG route got the chop as it wasn’t doing aswell as the SYD-HKG route.
VA’s trans continent A330 flights are marvellous so I’m glad they didn’t pull any from service
