This was from 2 weeks ago when AA had a meltdown at DFW on 10/25-10/26. After 3 flights DFW-JAX were cancelled on me I found nothing with seats available on 10/26 Friday that AA showed as available to get me to JAX. I finally found 1 seat left (for sale; didn't give me that option to change to that on my original ticket) for DFW-MIA-JAX and booked it; then called AA and the ticket agent said he could move those flights to my original ticket and do a refund. AA.com shows that a refund has already been requested and it is still under review 2 weeks later. The agent said it would be no problem to refund it. If they require that it be used as a credit minus change fee I could live with that but I would prefer the full refund on it...
